There are updos out there for all hair types – short, medium and long as well as updos for every face shape. If you are unsure of your face shape, you can ask your hairstylist or compare to celebrities on the internet. While some hairstyles may look great in pictures, they may not be suitable for you. The best solution is to try a few updos before prom. Several hairstyles at the moment can be seen as ‘fly by night’. One of those in particular is the Puff Updo popularized by the Jersey Shore star Snooki. While it is a fun hairstyle, is this really what you want to be wearing when your kids are looking at the pictures 20 years from now?
