Funky UpdoOur favorite style for Kristen is when she really goes wild with her hair. This funky updo certainly expresses her unique personality. You don’t have to fit the rocker or rebel persona to be able to pull this one off. This probably wouldn’t be your best choice for a wedding but could be an adventurous choice for prom. We expect a large number of Kristen’s ‘do’s to be emulated this prom season.
Half UpdoThis is a fabulous pulled back half updo that can be easily done yourself. The gentle side-bang curls soften the look and are perfect for her heart-shaped face. This is a far cry from her tom boy/girl next door look we were introduced to in Adventureland. The blond half up half down also makes her look a bit more mature and well beyond her twenty years of age.

Elegant UpdoThis half up half down look is slightly more elegant than the other half updo we featured. Again, she uses the perfect complement to her face shape with the soft curls gently gliding next to her cheeks. This would be a fabulous look for prom and if you have a heart-shaped face, there’s no doubt this could look gorgeous on you!
We get the feeling that Kristen prefers the more casual look when it comes to updos and is more of a ‘let your hair down’ kind of girl. This just means that when her hair does go up, we ought to take notice! Her silver screen roles reflect this perception as the simple girl next door in most of her recent roles. In the movie ‘Into the Wild’ she plays the role of a teenager living in the Midwest who develops a crush on the main character. In ‘Adventureland’ she plays the role of a somewhat troubled and complicated girl next door who is very mysterious. The same goes for her role as Bella in the Twilight series. We are looking for her to really step out of her comfort zone and expand into different kinds of roles in the next couple years.
