Over the years she has displayed them all – short haired updos, long haired updos, blond, brunette and black. There are few updos over the past decade that Jessica has not experimented with. She will be the first to admit that they don’t all work, yet her willingness and determination to stay ahead of the trend is what we love most. Her oval face shape allows for a broader range of updo styles and she has taken full advantage of that. In 2010 this talented actress has opted for shorter to medium length hair. While we prefer her with beyond the shoulder long hair, she’s definitely been able to wear some gorgeous updos without the long locks.
This is probably the most common Jessica Alba updo picture on the internet, and rightfully so. Her wavy hair is pulled back gently into a messy bun. The cute Boho braid wrapping around her left side is surprisingly elegant and perfectly complements her gold earrings. This is a fabulous look for her and definitely one of our personal favorites!
We love the waves in this updo as well as the messy look to it. This updo shows off her perfect facial features as well as her gorgeous neckline. The large dangling earrings are just icing on the cake for this look.
Here Jessica mixes it up a bit with a curly romantic updo. The bun is placed higher up and ensures that her full neckline is on display for this formal event. The waves in front give volume and height to her hair. This is a great style for wedding, prom or any formal event and very easy to recreate!
This elegant look has Jessica’s hair straightened and pulled back in front. Several loose bangs are allowed to swoop down brushing her eyebrow. The back is pulled up in a thick bun. While we prefer the soft curls on Jessica, this updo certainly works for her as well. I suppose that when you have a perfect olive skin tone, gorgeous dark eyes and a flawless face structure, any hairstyle can look great!

We expect a number of new fabulous styles from her as she’ll continue to set the precedent for updo hairstyles. Some short hair inspired updos will be displayed and her preferred hair color will be mostly blond this year.
