The model/actress is a relative newcomer to the Hollywood spotlight and her updos are sure to be on display as her stardom rises. This relatively unknown actress has been on our radar, or ‘updar’ as we like to call it for months now. Anya holds the number 10 box for Howie Mandel’s show and will be appearing in a number of movies in 2012. She has been seen wearing a number of elegant updo hairstyles both on screen and on the runways. Her short to medium length blond hair looks particularly fabulous in the following image.
Her hair is pulled loosely back in this side bun allowing the front bangs to swoop down brushing her eye brows before returning up and tucking behind the ear. This is such a simple ‘do’, yet has the appeal of red carpet elegance combined with a casual sophistication. We love the blond hair color with the dark roots. This uneven bun would also be a perfect choice for a wedding or prom. This image was taken for a photo shoot and her hair simply cannot be ignored in this one. Her hair is pulled back gently in subtle waves and held up in a French twist. The looseness of the bun provides a casual touch. While we’re not big fans of the branches, the live flowers in this updo would be a perfect look for summer.
Updo Guru Celebrity Trivia Tidbit: Anya practices the ancient Chinese martial art of WUSHU. Anya’s favorite red carpet look is the side-swept bun. When she wears it with such perfection we certainly don’t blame her!
Here she chooses to pull it up in a left-side bun while allowing her fringe to graze against her eye brow. The beautiful gold earrings complement her blond hair and help display her gorgeous neckline and heart-shaped face.
Here Anya switches the bun to the right side and is holding it up with a full volume bun. This updo is low and doesn’t take attention away from the strapless dress which is the star of this show. Look for this beauty to take on a number of different roles in the coming years, allowing her to display more of her talent as an actress as opposed to a model. Anya will be appearing this summer in the much anticipated blockbuster ‘Iron Man 2’ alongside Scarlett Johansson and Gwyneth Paltrow.
